Ages ago:

I went from beacon's perch all the way to dreadnaught's drift solo on a blood necro to cap feast of corruption from maw the mountain heart.
My bar was Life siphon, life transfer, vamp gaze, shadow strike, dark pact, barbed signet, blood renewal, and cap sig.

Some of the skills have changed functionality now, but the idea is the same.

Enemies didn't (not sure if they do now) use aoe damage on a single target, and the life steal+regen was enough to survive aggro from 3-4 enemies at a time. Pulling aggro till it breaks and using degen was a big strategy for bigger mobs.

When it finally came to the wurm, there used to be a bug where you could stand inside it and it couldn't hit you.

Solo-ed him and got my elite skill.

Spent the whole day today preparing and buying the last bits for tomorrow. Tomorrow my first character will turn 6 years, get her birthday present, her GWAMM and full HOM rewards.
Of course she could get the title and HOM rewards today but i rather make a big bang for her tomorrow

In fort aspenwood, playing on the luxon side, I walked the Jug (by keeping his aggro) all the way outside the castle and to the turtle spawn port.

Was on a team with 8 mesmers who cleared foundry before they toned it down for normal mode.

Solo ER'd Foundry HM without any other support heals in a team of 7/8 (other ER prot left at the second room and I'd already used an EoC)

Has anyone else noticed the game is alot more fun and you seem to concentrate more when drunk?

wouldn't count those as an un-extraordinary

Probably just being humble, eh Billiard?

Got approx. 40 consecutive wins in Shiverpeak Arena (yak's bend) as a level 14 monk supporting a 12 W/Mo, a ranger, and an ele. I think I have a screen of the run back on my old computer at home.

Was half the brain behind the Derv+Bonder Hero farm for topk, granted it wasn't and isn't profitable to farm topk.

Played for 5 and a half years without getting my Bambi (though I did get g1 earlier this year!).

Made a monk so I could be an authoritarian dictator in pug groups...

Oh god, I can't help but make this a nostalgia thread...Those were the days.

Kind of a weird accomplishment, but I got a mini Livia, Evennia, and Salma, all from opening Vanguard gifts. Actually I got 5 Evennias before I got the other two.

Ha, that reminds me of my day spent in Ascalon Arena. I was one of two dervs with a rit and me/mo...we quit when I hit lvl 12 :-)

was called a lot of unflattering names that day

None of this is extraordinary

Interrupting Patient Spirit with Psychic Instability in PvP and KD 3 (ok, I got lucky)

Playing Monk in AB on Luxon side, me and one other person split off from our group, he dies, but I singlehandedly back up half of the Kurzicks. I was in a ditch or "stuck" somehow, not just sitting out in the open... took them a while to kill me and kept seeing more and more dots on the compass.

Refusing to run the best builds in PvE PUGs and instead making things on the fly or what I want, 99% of the time, I am never penalized or kicked either!

To have achieved something like that I think you probably got ran through factions and I wouldn't really think paying your way through a game is extraordinary, rich maybe. If you did go through factions on your own then massive apologies!, that would be rather extraordinary avoiding so much exp. I'm basing this off of someone similar I met at imperial sanctum who was level ~10 and said they got ran from nightfall.

I have to say my best (hardest effort) accomplishment sofar is finishing WiK in NM with the crappy henchmen.
Really, not using them was worse (for me).
I used approx 50 Honeycombs to get through one particular WiK quest
(and yes that involved lots of party wipes)

I did not have Prophecies HM at that time, and it was before 7hero update ofcourse.
Been playing GW for almost 2 years and i finished Prophecies for the first time a few days ago.
Like, finally.
